SAN DIEGO, Calif. — Former Endicott men's ice hockey student-athlete Logan Day (Seminole, Fla.) scored his first career professional goal last night for the American Hockey League's (AHL) Bakersfield Condors in a 5-2 win over the San Diego Gulls (no relation).

Day's first career tally came at the 10:18 mark of the second period when he blasted a quick shot from the top of the right face-off circle into the right corner of the net, glove side, to make it a 2-1 contest. Day's goal ignited a 5-0 run for Bakersfield as the Condors went on to win by the previously mentioned 5-2 score.

Day finished the game with one goal, three shots, and a plus-2 rating. So far this season, Day has played in two games for the Condors. Bakersfield has five games remaining on its regular season schedule.
