Men’s Ice Hockey Claims Highest National Ranking In Program History For Third Straight Week

BEVERLY, Mass. – The Endicott men's ice hockey team earned its highest national ranking in program history for the third straight week with the announcement of the D3hockey.com poll earlier today. Endicott's No. 3 national ranking via D3hockey.com marks the highest ranking for the Gulls on either national poll (D3hockey.com or USCHO.com) in the three-year history of the program and the highest ranking ever for any program in the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC).

So far this season, Endicott is off to a 12-1-0/10-0-0 CCC start and has won 12 games in a row outscoring opponents 82-21. The Gulls currently rank first among all NCAA Division III programs in scoring offense (6.46 goals per game), scoring margin (6.46 GF/G | 1.85 GA/G | 4.62 margin), and combined special teams (75-for-117, 64.1%) and are also tied for first with No. 1 nationally ranked St. Norbert for the nation's longest active unbeaten streak (12-0-0). Endicott also is No. 11 in scoring defense (1.85 G/GM), No. 4 on the power play (15-for-52, 28.8%), No. 6 on the penalty kill (60-for-65, 92.3%), and No. 2 in team winning percentage (12-1-0, .923%).

No. 3/4 Endicott (12-1-0/10-0-0 CCC) travels to No. 15 Amherst on Sunday, December 31 at 4 PM.
