Endicott Finishes Fourth at RIC Invitational

WARWICK, R.I. – At the two-day Rhode Island College Invitational at the Valley Country Club, the Endicott golf team finished fourth out of 17 teams in their first spring competition in anticipation of the CCC Championship later this month. Senior Zach Golojuch (Saco, Maine) and sophomore Austin Teal (Loudonville, N.Y.) led the Gulls over the weekend with a two-day score of 160 (80-80).

Endicott led the field after day one with an overall team score of 318 as senior Jack Carroll (West Hartford, Conn.) turned in a +5, 77 just two strokes behind the day one leader. Teal and Golojuch tied for ninth among 83 overall golfers with an 80. Senior Nick Erlichman (Shrewsbury, Mass.) came in one stroke behind them.

On day two, Endicott took a step back with a 331 team score as Teal and Golojuch led their squad with a pair of 80's on the scorecard. Endicott (640, 318-331) finished the tournament behind Husson (640, 322-318), UMass Dartmouth (639, 322-317), and the host champion RIC (632, 320-312).

Endicott continues their spring season on April 11th-12th at the UMass Dartmouth Invitational at Allendale Country Club.
