GLOUCESTER, Mass. - On Saturday, November 4th, the Endicott crew team took part in serving the Gloucester community by assisting a local organic food-growing company, Backyard Growners. Since 2010, the food company has built over 142 raised vegtable garden beds for homes, housing communities, surrounding organizations, and the entire Gloucester schooling district. Not to mention, the company has approximately 300 individuals a year engage with their community gardens and gardening programs. 

Following the crew team's last regatta of the fall season, the student-athletes were extremely enthused to help out towards the noble cause. They spent a majority of their weekend building and filling new garden beds for one of the neighborhoods in Gloucester, as seen in the photo above.
