CHARLIE HALE | SO. | RHP | PITCHER OF THE YEAR
Hale becomes the third Gulls pitcher ever and the third consecutive to win Regional Pitcher of the Year. He follows Jordan Gottesman '24 (Acton, Mass.) and Gabe Van Emon '23 (Lexington, Mass.) as Region II Pitchers of the Year.
After winning Region II Rookie of the Year last season, Hale outdid his freshman self in his 2025 sophomore season.
The right-hander has featured an ERA of 2.04 (27th in DIII), 86 strikeouts (T-23rd), four complete games (T-8th), and a 0.78 WHIP (2nd) in 79.1 IP (25th) so far this season.
Additionally, his 13 wins so far this year lead the NCAA and are the most in program single-season history, surpassing Gottesman's previous-best 11-win season in 2024.
Since March 17, Hale has posted an ERA of 0.78 and a WHIP of 0.68. He has allowed a total of just six earned runs in 69 innings pitched over that span.
His dominance was on full display in his most recent start this past Friday in Super Regionals. He held No. 16/21 Claremont-Mudd-Scripps to just one earned run in a nine-inning complete game effort, leading the Gulls to a commanding 15-1 game one victory.
His ability to show up in big games has been a reliable force for Coach Haley throughout the season, and will be an integral part of the squad's pending College World Series run, which begins this Friday at 10 AM against No. 8/9 Kean.
WHAT'S NEXT
No. 3/4 Endicott (43-4) takes on No. 8/9 Kean (40-9) at 10 AM this Friday in game one of the 2025 College World Series.
