The Gulls' top catcher batted .417 (5-for-12) with a pair of runs scored and five funs batted in this past week. Gomez is currently second on the team in batting percentage (.408) and RBI's (22), and has 29 hits to date, two doubles, a triple, and four homeruns.
"Dan has turned into one of our most reliable hitters and a very solid defensive catcher," said head coach Larry Hiser. "He does not strike out much and he hits with great power."
