After leaving Endicott, Dorothy Russell Baker distinguished herself in the world of figure skating.  She has served on the United States Olympic Committee’s Board of Directors for the Committee on Sports for the Disabled and the National Finance Committee as well as the Delaware State Olympic Committee and the Lake Placid Olympic Organizing Committee.  Baker was a chief spokesperson for Olympic activities and the United States Figure Skating Association.
