Overview

The North Shore Cup, sponsored by The Salem News, is a competition that pits the Endicott College, Gordon College, and Salem State University varsity athletic programs against one another to raise greater awareness for North Shore collegiate student-athletes and the surrounding communities.  The competition uses a point-based system that awards one point for playing in a game, match, or race against another North Shore school, another two points for recording a tie, and three points should one school be victorious.

The sports eligible for North Shore Cup consideration are men's and women's cross country, field hockey, golf, men's and women's soccer, men's and women's tennis, women's volleyball, men's and women's basketball, baseball, men's and women's lacrosse, and softball.
