What does a typical day look like for you as an Endicott student-athlete?

- A typical day for me is very busy! I’ll have my athletic training classes, along with clinical hours all day. Once that ends, I’ll head to practice or a double header. My homework and studying gets fit in anywhere where I have free time.

What is your favorite aspect of being a student-athlete at Endicott?

- My favorite thing about being a student-athlete at Endicott is playing for the name on the front of my jersey while also getting to be a part of a successful athletic training program.

What were the key factors in choosing Endicott?

- I chose Endicott mainly for three reasons. For me, it was the perfect location being right outside Boston and right on the water. The internship and clinical opportunities were a big factor because I felt they would help me gain more experience before starting a career. Endicott’s sense of community among athletics is an awesome atmosphere to be a part of. It’s so fun to be at all the athletic events with all of my peers!

What are your plans after graduation?

- After graduation, I will be obtaining a Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy.

What opportunities at Endicott have you taken advantage of beyond being a student-athlete?

- Beyond being a student athlete, I have taken advantage of the community service opportunities at Endicott. I have been involved in so many events with the Athletic Training Club. I have also taken full advantage of the beaches here. Last year I lived in Birchmont and I don’t think one day went by when I didn’t sit outside on the deck, or look outside when there was too much snow!

Where have you completed internships/clinicals so for and what have you learned from it?

- I have completed clinical hours with most of the sports teams at Endicott. I did one internship at Island Shore Physical Therapy on Long Island and another one at The Pingree School with their fall teams. I completed my senior internship with our Men’s Soccer team, which was my favorite one!

What is one thing we don’t know about you?

- One thing you don’t know about me is that two of my toes are webbed, and no that does not make me swim faster.

What advice do you have for players looking at becoming Endicott student-athletes?

- One piece of advice I would have for prospective student-athletes is to develop good time management skills. You will always be running from class to practice or a game and have plenty of studying to do as well.
