What does a typical day look like for you as an Endicott student-athlete?

A typical day for me is very hectic! I take interior design classes all day long, then dance classes and dance team practices at night. I squeeze school work in at night and on the weekends!

What were the key factors in choosing Endicott?

Location was a huge factor in my decision to come to Endicott. It is only an hour away from my home, located outside of Boston, and the beaches are a huge plus! Another key factor was the dance program here. I wanted to get a great interior design education while still having various opportunities to dance on campus!

What are your plans after graduation?

As of right now, I’m not entirely sure! The goal is to work in Boston and live in the area but it’s all a work in progress!

What opportunities at Endicott have you taken advantage of beyond being a student-athlete?

The interior design program is great with exposing students to educational and networking opportunities and events through associations such as ASID and IIDA. The dance program has many opportunities for dancers to take classes and work with different choreographers through workshops and the ensemble class.

Where have you completed internships/clinicals so for and what have you learned from it?

My first two internships were both residential design firms; All in the Details, and Kristina Crestin Design. Kristina ended up hiring me the summer after my internship which was great because I really enjoyed working there. My semester internship was at Bergmeyer Associates, where I worked on retail and restaurant projects which I discovered is a field I am really interested in.

What is one thing we don’t know about you?

I danced in a commercial for the Bank of Newport when I was 10.

What advice do you have for players looking at becoming Endicott student-athletes?

Athletics may seem like a big undertaking at first, and it is but learning time management is so important because being a student athlete is worth it. Coming to college I was definitely worried about how to balance school work with dance team. Over these past four years I’ve learned how to manage my time really efficiently and balance athletic responsibilities with school responsibilities.

I have a Dustin Pedroia and Julian Edelman obsession but I’m not sure if it’s entirely because of their athletic skills…
