BEVERLY, Mass. – Endicott women's cross country student-athletes Holly Fossa (Essex, Mass.) and Julia Adrian (Noank, Conn.) have both earned weekly awards from the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC). It was announced by the league office earlier today.
Fossa was named the CCC Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week, while Adrian received Rookie of the Week honors.
At the Keene State Invitational last Saturday, Fossa placed 33rd overall out of 185 competitors. She ran the 5-kilometer race in a collegiate best time of 19:35.7 to lead the Gulls to a ninth place finish out of 18 teams.
Meanwhile, Fossa placed 69th out of 185 competitors at the Keene State Invitational. Adrian's time of 20:32.4 on 5-kilometer course was not only her collegiate best, but it also helped carry Endicott to a ninth place finish on the day.

Endicott returns to action on Saturday, October 19 at the Suffolk University Invitational, hosted at Franklin Park in Boston, Massachusetts, at 2:30 PM.
