USMC/AVCA TEAM ACADEMIC AWARD RELEASE

BEVERLY, Mass. – The Endicott women's volleyball team has earned the United States Marine Corps (USMC) and American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Team Academic Award for its efforts in the classroom during the 2020-21 academic year. It marks the sixth straight season, and the seventh time overall, the Gulls have received the award in program history.

The award, initiated in the 1992-93 academic year, honors volleyball teams that maintain a year-long grade-point average of 3.30 on a 4.0 scale or 4.10 on a 5.0 scale.

In 2020-21, Endicott saw both the men and women receive the honor. The women were one of 233 NCAA Division III programs to claim the achievement. In total, 1,275 collegiate and high school teams earned the USMC/AVCA Team Academic Award for the 2020-2021 season.
