2017 AVCA DIVISION III ALL-AMERICAN LIST

LEXINGTON, Ky. – The American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) announced the 2017 NCAA Division III All-America teams on Tuesday and Endicott's Emma Mancini (Lynnfield, Mass.) was named Honorable Mention for the first time in her career. The 2017 CCC Player of the Year was named to the AVCA Division III All-New England Region team.

Mancini joins 2017 graduate Tori McIntyre as the only two women in program history to have earned the distinction. A junior, Mancini re-wrote the Endicott record books in 2017, setting program records for kills in a season, kills/set, kills in a single match (twice), kills in a four set match, points and points/set. Mancini posted 454 kills on the season, averaging an astounding 4.17 a set. That included setting the record with 27 in a five set loss to Plymouth St., before then breaking it a week later with her 29 kill effort in the team's 3-2 win over Tufts. The outside would also collect 28 kills in the four set win over Coast Guard to set the record for kills in a four set match as she went for 10 or more kills in 26 of the 32 matches she played.

2017 ended with Mancini hitting .266, good for the ninth best single season average, while posting 510.5 total points for an average of 4.7/set. The Lynnfield, Mass. native finished first on the team with 38 aces and added 208 digs, good for fifth on the roster. Following her record setting performance, Mancini also earned the first All-CCC First Team nod of her career as she led the Gulls to their second straight CCC title and NCAA Division III Tournament appearance.
