Dolan Honored with Second ECAC DIII New England Player of the Week Recognition

CENTERVILLE, Mass.-  In a week in which she was named Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Player of the Week for the second time this season, senior Callie Dolan (Westford, Mass.) has been named as the co-ECAC Player of the Week Honors second time this season.  With the 3-1 week, Endicott is back to the .500 mark and will look to climb above that mark with three CCC matches on the slate.  During the 3-1 week, Dolan led the team in kills every match as the team earned a conference win over CCC foe UNE before heading to the Baruch Invitational where they went 2-1.

In the three set sweep over UNE, Dolan recorded 14 kills while hitting .355.  Both numbers led the team as she also chipped in six digs to the winning effort.  The outside hitter then went on to put up 10 kills against the impressive block of Richard Stockton in the opening match of the Baruch Invitational as the Gulls fell to the Ospreys 3-0.  Against the Invitational hosts Baruch, Dolan tied a career high with 22 kills.  The 22 kills, also tied for the fourth highest single match total in Endicott history, led Endicott to a four set victory as Dolan hit at a .308 clip.  Her kills were accompanied by two total blocks, two aces and three digs.  In the final match of the weekend, Dolan recorded 12 kills, three blocks and two digs to lead Endicott past Ramapo 3-0.

On the week, Dolan averaged 4.46 kills/set as she notched double digit kill performances in every Match.  For the week, she totaled 58 kills, 13 digs, seven blocks and three aces.  Endicott, who is now ranked t-14th in the most recent NEWVA coaches poll, is now 10-9 (3-0) and looks to continue its winning ways as they travel to CCC foe Curry tonight for another CCC battle.  The week culminates in a Saturday matchup at home against bitter conference rival Roger Williams at 2 p.m. as part of Endicott's Homecoming Festivities.
