SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – The Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) announced their Fall 2013 Academic All-Conference Team and Endicott was the leader of the pack with 54 honorees across seven first semester sports that included men’s and women’s cross country, field hockey, men’s and women’s soccer, women’s tennis, and women’s volleyball.
CENTERVILLE, Mass.- The 2013 season has been over for nearly a month now but the women's volleyball team continues to see individual accolades roll in. The ECAC announced its annual All-Star teams on Friday and outside hitter Callie Dolan (Westford, Mass.) was named to the DIII New England First Team for her impressive senior campaign. Dolan was one of three total Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) players that received the honor, joining Roger Williams' Krystie Luczynski and Western New England's Grace Kucharski.
NEW LONDON, N.H.- Following a season in which she led the Gulls in kills and eclipsed a personal milestone of 1,000 career kills, senior Callie Dolan (Westford, Mass.) has been invited to compete in the 2013 NEWVA Senior Classic. The Classic will be held on Sunday, Dec. 8th on the campus of UMass Boston.
SPRINGFIELD, Mass.- The Endicott women's volleyball team saw their 2013 season come to a close on Saturday following a 3-0 loss to Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) rival Western New England. The close match, which saw the teams battle into extra points in the first and third sets, drops Endicott's record to 23-16 on the season, just one year after a 12-20 campaign. With a young nucleus of players returning in 2014, the future is bright for the Gulls.
BEVERLY, Mass.- The women’s volleyball team began their quest for the program’s first ever ECAC DIII New England Women’s Volleyball Championship on Wednesday as the third seeded Gulls played host to the sixth seeded Saints of Emmanuel in opening round action. The Gulls advanced to the semifinals with a 3-0 sweep of the Saints and will now play the second seeded Western New England at their home site. Western New England is the host of both the semifinal rounds and championship round that will be played Saturday due to a scheduling conflict with top seed Salve Regina’s gymnasium.
CENTERVILLE, Mass.- Following a season in which the team posted a 22-15 record overall and fell in the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) title match, Endicott has been awarded the #3 seed in the upcoming ECAC DIII New England Women's Volleyball Championships. Endicott will play host to #6 seed Emmanuel on Wednesday at 7 p.m.
BRISTOL, R.I.- The women's volleyball team knew they were up against a tough task when they traveled to Bristol, R.I. to face top seed Roger Williams on Saturday, a team that has lost just three matches on the entire season, and came into the match ranked #1 in New England in the most recent NCAA Regional poll. To get to this point, the Gulls had to first travel to Newport, R.I. to face the #7 ranked team in the same poll in Salve Regina, who was also ranked second in the tournament. After landing one upset in Rhode Island earlier in the week, the Gulls wouldn't be able to complete the Ocean State sweep as they fell to Roger Williams 3-0 on Saturday.
NEWPORT, R.I.- The Endicott women's volleyball traveled to the campus of Salve Regina on Thursday night for their Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) semifinal match-up. The Gulls had one thing on their mind and one thing only; pay back. Salve had gotten the better of the Gulls in their previous two meetings with the first meeting being in last year's CCC Semifinal match at Endicott. In their most recent contest, a regular season contest in Newport, the Hawks came out victorious in four sets. The Gulls, who are now 15-2 all-time against the Hawks, turned the tables on Thursday to win 3-1 and advance back to the CCC Championship match on Saturday against Roger Williams.
BEVERLY, Mass.- The third seeded Gulls and sixth seeded Lions entered Tuesday night’s Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Tournament matchup having played just one week ago with Endicott having swept Eastern Nazarene 3-0 behind a disciplined team effort on both the offensive and defensive ends. With the added pressure of a playoff atmosphere, the Gulls once again would prevail as they defeated the Lions three sets to none to advance to the CCC Semifinals against the second seeded Seahawks of Salve Regina.

Endicott College is hosting a developmental skills clinic for all prospective student-athletes in the graduating classes of 2014 and 2015 on Sunday, December 8th from 2 – 5 PM. The clinic will review some volleyball fundamentals, as well as put the participants through some competitive drills we use on a regular basis. We will also go through some 3 v 3 or 4 v 4 drills as well as 6’s situations. This is a great opportunity to learn from, meet, and be evaluated by the Endicott College volleyball staff and players. To maintain a quality event, we will limit participation to 40 players.

WALTHAM, Mass.- The women's volleyball team finished regular season play on Saturday by splitting their two matches to reach the 20 win plateau for the first time since 2010. The Gulls finish their 2013 regular season with a 20-14 (6-2) mark on the season and enter the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) tournament as the #3 seed. Endicott will play host to #6 Eastern Nazarene Tuesday at 7 p.m.
BEVERLY, Mass. – The Endicott women’s volleyball honored their lone senior, outside hitter Callie Dolan (Westford, Mass.), with a 3-0 (25-13, 25-13, 25-16) victory over CCC opponent Eastern Nazarene on Tuesday night and inched closer to the end of their regular season and the start of another postseason run.
BEVERLY, Mass.- Looking to avenge their 2012 loss to Endicott in Springfield, Mass., Western New England (WNE) rode the arms of Casey Cameron (Reading, Mass.) and Devyn Frank (Mystic, Conn.) to escape Beverly with a 3-2 victory in a pivotal Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) matchup. In the match, Endicott senior Callie Dolan (Westford, Mass.) recorded and eclipsed 1,000 career kills. With the win, WNE improved to 18-7 (4-2) while Endicott falls to 17-13 (5-2). In the second match of the day, WNE defeated WPI 3-0 before Endicott defeated WPI 3-0 in the night cap.
SALEM, Mass.- In two matches against MASCAC schools, Endicott dominated the competition sweeping both MCLA and Salem State 3-0 to improve to 17-12 on the season. Endicott opened the tri-match by taking down MCLA before closing with the sweep over North Shore rival Salem State. The team has now completed their part of the North Shore Cup as they defeated both Gordon and Salem State on the season.
BEVERLY, Mass.- Behind a career day from senior Callie Dolan (Westford, Mass.), Endicott was able to take down NCAA Division II foe St. Anselm in a five set thriller. The two teams split the first four sets as the Gulls took sets two and three before clinching the match with the fifth set victory. With the win, Endicott improves to 15-12 on the season while St. Anselm’s drops to 5-12.
SPRINGFIELD, Mass.- Freshman Erika Trudon (Coventry, Conn.) has been named as the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Libero of the Week for the third time this season. The Gulls went 2-3 on the week with a win over the #12 team in New England, Babson, being the highlight of the UMass Boston Invitational.
BOSTON, Mass. – Endicott women’s volleyball competed on day one of the UMass Boston Invitational against the host Beacons and Colby-Sawyer. The Gulls earned a split on the day and improved their season record to 13-11 overall.
BOSTON, Mass.- The Endicott women's volleyball team finished the UMass Boston Invitational 2-2 after losing to Haverford 3-1 in the opening match before closing with a 3-2 win over Babson, the #12 team in New England. Endicott now possesses a 14-12 record overall.
CENTERVILLE, Mass.- For her stellar performance last week which culminated in a 3-2 thrilling victory over then #22 Roger Williams, sophomore Mackenzie Guerre (Carlsbad, Calif.l) received co-ECAC Division III New England Player of the Week. The Gulls went 3-0 over that stretch with all three wins being Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) matches.
NEWPORT, R.I.- On Wednesday night in Newport, something had to give. Both Endicott and Salve Regina entered their Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) women's volleyball matchup with undefeated conference records as the Gulls stood at 5-0 and the Seahawks at 3-0. Salve would ride a match high 20 kills and .319 attack percentage to edge Endicott 3-1 to remain perfect in CCC play. With the win, Salve improves to 18-1 (4-0) while Endicott falls to 12-10 (5-1).
SPRINGFIELD, Mass.- Following an undefeated week that saw the team win three Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) matches and culminated with a win over bitter rival and previously undefeated #22 Roger Williams, the Endicott women’s volleyball team has swept the weekly CCC honors of Player of the Week, Libero of the Week and Rookie of the Week. It is the first time all season that Endicott has swept the awards.
BEVERLY, Mass.- Behind an unbelievable team effort, Endicott was able to down a Roger Williams squad that entered the match riding a 19 match win streak and in possession of the #22 ranking in the most recent AVCA National DIII poll. The loss is the first for the Hawks, who entered the match 19-0 and ranked #1 in New England. The Gulls have now won their last four contests and have improved to 4-0 in CCC play. Endicott now prepares for a pivotal CCC matchup that pits the Gulls against Roger Williams who is also undefeated in conference play.

The Gulls got huge offensive performances from Callie Dolan (Westford, Mass.) and Mackenzie Guerre (Carlsbad, Calif.) to hand the Leopards their second CCC loss as Wentworth fell to 9-6 (1-2).

NEW YORK, N.Y.- With two matches to play on Saturday and a chance to even their overall record at 9-9 on the season, Endicott stepped up in a big way as they took down the hosts Baruch 3-1 before sweeping Ramapo 3-0. The Gulls finished the Baruch Invitational with a 2-1 record and have now won six of their last eight matches. Senior Callie Dolan (Westford, Mass.) was named to the All-Tournament team for her performance.
NEW YORK, N.Y.- Day one of the Baruch Invitational proved to be difficult for the Gulls as they dropped in straight sets to the Ospreys of Richard Stockton. Set scores were 25-19, 25-13, 25-19. Endicott's offense struggled to match the potency of the Osprey's as Endicott was outhit .140 to .392. The Gulls now look to rebound on day two of the tournament as they play host Baruch before taking on Ramapo in the final match.
