Trio of Gulls Earn Weekly Honors

BEVERLY, MA - Endicott names filled the volleyball headlines this week as Meghan Hall (Santa Cruz, CA/Aptos), Brittany Phillips (Sudbury, MA/Lincoln Sudbury) and Brittany Nolan (Monroe, CT/Masuk) all earned TCCC weekly honors and the Gulls solidified the No. 1 seed in the upcoming conference playoffs.

Senior setter Meghan Hall led the Gulls to a perfect 3-0 week against three teams headed to the upcoming TCCC Volleyball Championship. Hall dished out 54 assists and logged 20 digs in a thrilling five-game win over Colby-Sawyer College last Wednesday evening. Hall added 51 assists and six digs in a three-game sweep of University of New England, and then tallied nine digs and two blocks in a four-game win over Roger Williams University. Hall averaged 12.67 assists and 2.92 digs per game over the three matches to earn Player of the Week status.

Freshman outside hitter Brittany Phillips earned Rookie of the Week as she recorded double-digit kills in Endicott's three wins last week. Phillips posted 12 kills and six digs in a critical five-game win over Colby-Sawyer, added 13 kills and three digs in a three-game sweep of University of New England and finished the week with 15 kills and three blocks in a four-game victory over Roger Williams. Against strong competition, Phillips averaged 3.33 kills per game.

Junior libero Brittany Nolan was named Libero of the Week as she anchored the Gulls' serve-receive to help lead Endicott in the final week of the regular season. In the key conference wins, Nolan posted 16 digs in a five-game win over Colby-Sawyer and 24 digs in back-to-back victories over the University of New England and Roger Williams. She averaged 5.33 digs per game in the trio of conference wins.

Endicott, the No. 1 seed in The Commonwealth Coast Conference Tournament will open the postseason on Tuesday evening as they host \#8 Eastern Nazarene at 7:00 p.m. in Beverly, Massachusetts.
