Gulls Fall to Bowdoin in Five Games

Brunswick, ME - The Endicott College women's volleyball team lost a tough five game match to Bowdoin College Wednesday night.

The Gulls took a two game lead as they won 30-27 and 30-25, before the Polar Bears came back to win the second two games forcing a fifth and final game which they won 15-13 to take the three games to two win.

Sara Moore once again led the way for the Gulls as she racked up 16 kills. Hayley Janelle and Steph Wiese also played well as they added 15 and 11 kills respectively.

Meghan Hall continued her dominance in the middle of the court as she tallied 42 assists and 16 digs. Brittany Nolan dug out 27 balls and Janelle also added nine blocks to the Endicott effort.

Loss drops the Gulls record to 17-10; however they remain atop the CCC at a perfect 8-0. EC is currently ranked 12th in New England and the Polar Bears are currently ranked 8th. Despite the loss Endicott remains optimistic as they prepare for 11th ranked Connecticut College on Saturday.
