Beverly, MA - With a chance to wrap up a perfect CCC record and clinch the \#1 seed in the CCC Tournament, the Gulls came out ready to play. Game 1 saw EC commit only 4 hitting errors while hitting .452 as a team as they cruised to a 30-19 win. Game 2 was much closer as ENC improved their serving and led 28-27 before the Gulls ran off 3 straight to close out the game 30-28. Game 3 started competitively until Patty Mikan ran off 7 straight serves to push the team to an early 13-5 lead, which EC held on to as they closed out the Crusaders 30-18.

Offensively, Sara Moore and Killeen Ross again picked up double digit kills with 11 and 10 kills respectively but Morgan Tranquist, Patty Mikan and Susan Teta were all within 2 of them. Meghan Hall again moved the ball around well dishing out 37 assists while Libero Katie Lorinovich led the team with 22 digs.

The Crusaders were led by sophomore, Amber Crow's 17 kills and senior Molly Wakefield's 26 assists and 13 digs. ENC finishes the CCC regular season with a 7-2 record and looks to be the \#3 seed headed in the tournament beginning on Tuesday, November 2nd.

In addition to extending their win streak to 20 straight, tonight's win also completed the teams first undefeated season in CCC play. As the \#1 seed, EC will host their matches throughout the CCC tournament. The win also ties the program record for wins in a season at 21. The Gulls will have the opportunity to set the record this Thursday at Rhode Island College in a 6 PM match with the Anchorwomen.
