Beverly, MA - The Gulls picked up two nonconference wins today at the Post Center. In the first match of the day, EC proved to be too much for Western New England defeating the Golden Bears 3-0 (30-12, 30-23, 30-20). After Wheaton defeated WNEC 3-1, Endicott defeated Wheaton 3-1 (30-21, 30-32, 30-22, 30-19). The Gulls earned their first 20 win season under Coach Byram and on Tuesday will have a chance to tie the school record for wins in a season at 21.

In the first match of the day, Sara Moore controlled the net knocking down 11 kills while also picking up 7 blocks. Meghan Hall picked up another double double with 31 assists and a team high 12 digs while Killeen Ross and Katie Lorinovich also contributed double digit digs with 11 and 10 respectively. Additionally, Patty Mikan contributed 9 kills and Morgan Tranquist served 3 aces.

In the second match of the day, the Gulls added Wheaton (MA) to the list of schools they have defeated for the first time. Junior, Killeen Ross hammered a team high 17 kills while hitting .444 and picking up 13 digs and classmate Patty Mikan added 11 kills and 3 aces to the effort. Other highlights included Meghan Hall's 39 assists, Katie Lorinovich's 20 digs and Susan Teta's 5 blocks.

Endicott will return to action on Tuesday, when they will host CCC rival Eastern Nazarene. ENC is currently 7-1 in the CCC with their only loss coming to Colby-Sawyer while the Gulls will enter the match with a perfect 8-0 record in CCC play. Play will begin in the Post Center at 7:00 PM.
