Endicott Defeats UNE and Regis to Improve to 7-0 in CCC Play

Biddeford, ME - The Gulls made the trip to UNE for their final CCC trimatch of the season and came away with a new program record. Defeating host UNE 3-0 (30-26, 30-20, 30-27) EC set a new program record with their 11th consecutive victory. They then continued their winning ways defeating Regis 3-0 (30-10, 30-21, 30-26) to make it 12 straight.

In the first match of the day facing host UNE, the Gulls Sara Moore continued to pace the offense. Moore led the team with 15 kills and was followed closely by Morgan Tranquist's 12. Meghan Hall had a double double with 41 assists and 10 digs. Katie Lorinovich, Killeen Ross and Patty Mikan each had double digit digs with 13,11 and 10 respectively.

In the second match, it was Moore of the same. Sara Moore led the team hitting .667% (8k-0e/12a) while Tranquist and Kim Marschner combined for 18 kills. Krystan Sylva handed out 23 assists and Susan Teta led the team with 4 aces.

The Gulls who are currently ranked \#12 in New England will return to action this Tuesday as they travel to 8th ranked Colby-Sawyer for a 7:00 PM match. The Gulls were defeated by CSC twice last season including a season ending CCC semifinal loss they hope to avenge.
