Final Stats

In the days preceding the CCC tournament, the Endicott women are preparing themselves with tough competition. In their third match of the week, the Gulls took control early, winning the first game 30-20. They lost the second 22-30, but came back to win the next two 30-24, 30-27.

The Gull offense was spread out by setters, Krystan Sylva (16 assists) and Kristen Altieri (20 assists). Middle hitters Susan Teta and Sara Moore drew the block into the middle and opened things up for outside hitters Patty Mikan and Killeen Ross to combine for 17 kills in 61 attempts. Teta led the team in hitting percentage with .231% (9k-3e/26att).

Libero Katie Lorinovich was the anchor on the defensive side of things, tallying 18 digs. Sylva and Ross were next highest with 12 and 11 respectively. Moore continued to be the workhorse at the net for the Gulls collecting one solo and three assist blocks.

Rhode Island College's Erica Poirier tried to lead the attack on the Gulls with 14 kills. She got help from Kristy Nix, who tallied 12 kills. Steph Wojiewoski led RIC on defense with nine digs.

Endicott gets right back on the court tomorrow (Saturday, November 1) for a 1 PM match at home against Western Connecticut State University (currently ranked \#5 in New England). This is their final regular season home game, and the Gulls will pay tribute to seniors Marisol Garcia and Krystan Sylva before the match begins.
