Endicott took care of business this weekend as they went 2-0 in a conference tri-match with Wentworth and Anna Maria. Sophomore Killeen Ross led the team in both kills and digs with 16 and 29 respectively. Also of note, Coach Tim Byram reached his 100th career victory in women's volleyball.

The Gulls beat Wentworth with their outstanding defensive play. The team set a new school record number for digs in a three-game match with 77. Katie Lorinovich and Krystan Sylva added to Ross's efforts (16 digs), with 15 and 13 digs respectively. Morgan Tranquist and Susan Teta each tallied two blocks to aid the back-row defenders in the 3-0 victory.

Against Anna Maria, Tim Byram reached his 100th career victory as he coached the team to its second 3-0 win of the day. Endicott won with offense as they set a new school record for team hitting percentage, hitting an amazing .508% (39k-6e/65atts) as a team. Ross again paved the way for the team record, hitting a personal best .667% (8k-0e-12atts), which tied the school's previous individual record held by Teta. Closely behind Ross were Sara Moore with eight kills, Teta with seven, and Tranquist with six kills. The Gulls put in a true team effort in the victory as all eleven players present saw court time.

The Gulls have all week to get ready for the Eastern Connecticut State University Invitational where they will face Brandeis at 4:30 and Wheaton at 6:30 next Friday night (October 10).
