Despite the efforts of junior Susan Teta on offense, the Gulls could not find enough momentum or spark to defeat conference rival, Gordon College and lost in three straight 16-30, 17-30, 25-30. Teta led the offense with six kills, while her opposite in the middle, Sara Moore, led the team defensively with one solo and two assist blocks. Killeen Ross fought to keep the Gulls alive digging 13 balls, followed closely by Katie Lorinovich's eleven. From the service line, Patty Mikan contributed a season best five aces.

Three-time conference player of the year, Lauren Barnes, led the Scots offense as usual, tallying 31 kills in the three game-match. On the defensive side, Elizabeth Moraz and Mollie Davis contributed with ten digs apiece.

The women's volleyball team would like to thank the many faculty members who attended tonight inaugural Faculty Appreciation Night (FAN), with a special thanks to Dr. Sue Langlois who provided the photos of tonight's match. Between the second and third games, the team held a drawing and presented the winner, Dr. William Samenfink (Dean of Hospitality and Restaurant Management) with a long sleeve Endicott Volleyball t-shirt.

Endicott returns to action on Saturday as they travel to Wentworth Institute of Technology for a conference tri-match with Anna Maria. Games are at 11:00 and 1:00.
