Box Score

The Gulls were 1-1 in today's CCC tri-match at Colby-Sawyer, which evens their record at 2-2 in CCC play this season. After dropping a tough match to the home team 2-3, Endicott rallied to soundly defeat Salve Regina 3-0. Katie Lorinovich's 36 digs in the CSC match set a new school record (which she set earlier this season at Brandeis). Offensively, the Gulls received another impressive performance from Freshman Sara Moore.

Sara Moore hit .375 (10k-1e/24) to lead the offense and was one of four players with double-digit kills against the Chargers. Patty Mikan, Susan Teta and Morgan Tranquist all chipped in 10 kills as well for the Gulls. Freshmen, Meghan Stevens took advantage of her first start of the season and played well.

The second match of the day, a 3-0 victory over Salve Regina, had the freshmen carrying the offensive load. Sara Moore hit a career best .636 (8k-1e/11a) while classmate Meghan Stevens hit .444 (5k-1e/9a). The Gulls also relied on strong serving by Kristen Altieri (7 Aces) and Patty Mikan (4 Aces) helped to keep the Seahawks off balance.

The Gulls will return to action this Wednesday, when they will host CCC rival Gordon College at 7 PM.
