Morgan Tranquist continued to lead the Gulls offensively with a .333% hitting percentage in a 0-3 loss to the Bowdoin Polar Bears. Endicott's middle blockers combined for 12 kills, Tranquist with seven and Susan Teta with five.

The Gulls attempted to slow the Polar Bear charge behind Katie Lorinovich's 17 digs and Teta's team leading three blocks. Patty Mikan and Killeen Ross also put up big numbers defensively with 10 and nine digs respectively.

Freshman Julie Calareso and Sophomore Jessica Schlobohm led Bowdoin on both offense and defense.

Endicott will look to even up their record this weekend as the team returns to action on Saturday, September 13 with a tri-match at Brandeis University. The Gulls face Brandeis at 11:00 am and Clark University at 1:00 pm.
