CAMBRIDGE, Mass. — Hannah Risko (Albany, N.Y.) broke the 800m school record at the MIT Final Qualifier on Thursday night.
Risko competed in the meet to better her chances at becoming the program's first-ever NCAA Championship qualifier.
The graduate student left it all out on the track in the final race of her career, crossing the finish line in a school record/personal best time of 2:11.94 (5th overall).
Risko dropped over a second off her career best in the 800m (2:13.00), set last week at Williams, and moved up three spots on the 2025 NCAA Division III Outdoor Qualifying List (35th at the time of this writing).
Selections for the 2025 NCAA D3 Championship will be revealed on Friday, May 16, via a press release on www.ncaa.com by 8 PM (EST).
