WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. — The Endicott women's track and field team broke four school records at NCAA Division III New England Regionals this past weekend, hosted by Williams College, to a cap a stellar second year for the program.
Emma Farrington (Essex Junction, Vt.) highlighted the Gulls' efforts with an 11th place finish in the 3,000-meter steeplechase behind a school record time of 11:43.78. Farrington eclipsed the previous school record by more than 15-seconds (12:00.50) and registered the highest individual placement at NCAA Regionals for Endicott in program history.
Meanwhile, in the 100-meter hurdles, Jenna Raffael (North Reading, Mass.) placed 21st overall in the event with a school record time of 16.09-seconds (previous record: 16.23).
Endicott also saw the quartet of Olivia Folkes (Amston, Conn.), Kira Charrier (Dartmouth, Mass.), Amelia Castelli (Scituate, R.I.), and Amanda Recupero (Ipswich, Mass.) rank 21st overall in the 4x400-meter relay via a school record time of 4:21.63. The previous school record of 4:21.72 was set on April 28, 2018.
Along with the 4x400m relay, the group of Gabrielle Morton (Peabody, Mass.), Arianna Moffatt (Essex, Vt.), Hevyn Pray (Rehoboth, Mass.), and Julianne Sullivan (Wrentham, Mass.) established a new school record in the 4x100-meter relay with a time of 52.50 to place 22nd overall (previous record: 52:71).
Nicole D'Angelo (Readfield, Maine) rounded out the group of NCAA Regionals participants with a toss of 35-feet and 3-inches in the shot put for 16th place overall. D'Angelo is the first field student-athlete to qualify for regionals in program history.

"This was a great weekend for the team. To finish off the season at New England's against the region's best is a huge step for this program," said Endicott women's track and field head coach Spencer Lange. "They represented Endicott as well as they could have to cement an overall special season. I'm proud of their efforts and how we ended the season on a high note."
YEAR IN REVIEW
The Endicott women's track and field team had a program-best 11 student-athletes compete at NCAA Division III Regionals this past weekend to bookend a historic season for the second-year squad. Endicott also placed fourth at the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Championships behind a program-high 78 points and nine All-Conference performers, including one individual champion. In addition to that, the Gulls won their first-ever meet with by scoring 120 points at the Regis Classic.
