Farrington, D'Angelo, Sprint Medley Team Earn CCC Weekly Honors

CCC WEEKLY AWARDS RELEASE

BEVERLY, Mass. – The Endicott women's track and field team saw several student-athletes earn Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) weekly awards, as announced by the conference office on Monday. Emma Farrington (Essex Junction, Vt.) was named Track Athlete of the Week, while Nicole D'Angelo (Readfield, Maine) earned Field Rookie of the Week and the Sprint Medley team of Gabrielle Morton (Peabody, Mass.), Julianne Sullivan (Wrentham, Mass.), Olivia Folkes (Amston, Conn.), and Amanda Recupero (Ipswich, Mass.) picked up Relay Team of the Week honors. 

Farrington had one of nine school record performances for Endicott at the Penmen Relays this weekend. She finished third in the 3K steeplechase, posting a school-record time of 12:00.50. She bested her previous record time of 12:13.76 by more than 10 seconds and pushed her NCAA Regional ranking up to 14.

D'Angelo competed in two field events for Endicott at the Penmen Relays this weekend. She ranked 10th in the shot put with a throw of 10.97 meters (36'0") and placed 11th pole vault clearing 2.60 meters (8'6.25").

Morton, Sullivan, Folkes, and Recupero set the standard for Endicott in the 1600m sprint medley this weekend at the Penmen Relays. They placed fifth overall with a time of 4:32.07.

Endicott will compete at the Sean Collier Invitational, hosted by MIT, on Saturday, April 20 at 10:15 AM.
