Aleah MacKay Competes At NCAA DIII New England Regionals

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Endicott women's track and field freshman distance runner Aleah MacKay (Bedford, N.H.) finished 16th overall in the 10,000-meter run with a time of 43:08.00 on Friday night at the NCAA Division III New England Regionals, hosted by MIT.

MacKay's performance was noteworthy as the freshman distance runner became the first student-athlete in Endicott women's track and field program history to qualify for and compete in the NCAA Division III New England Regionals championship meet.

"Aleah had a strong debut season on the track for our program. She earned her spot out there last night to represent Endicott at the NCAA championship level," said Endicott women's track and field head coach Spencer Lange. "Aleah will now get some much-needed rest in preparation for the fall. It was great to be able to end the season at this meet with such strong competition."
