CCC Champions Place Four Student-Athletes On All-Conference List

BEVERLY, Mass. — The Endicott women's tennis team placed four student-athletes on the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) All-Conference list, the league announced earlier today. 

Headlining the list for the Gulls was Justine Hoover (Wallingford, Conn.) who was named to the All-CCC First Team, while Gretta Hartman (Glastonbury, Conn.) secured second-team honors, and Ashley Keaveney (Exeter, N.H.) earned third-team laurels. 

Meanwhile, Hartman and Fernanda Trevino (Dallas, Texas), were named to the All-CCC First doubles team, and Hoover and Keaveney were named to the All-CCC Second doubles team. 


Justine Hoover | Jr. | All-CCC First Team Singles | Wallingford, Conn.

The now two-time All-CCC First Team member was a perfect 7-0 this season at the No. 1 singles spot. Highlighting her seven wins were the two clinching matches for the Gulls in the CCC playoffs, a 6-4, 6-3 win over Gordon, and a 6-0, 6-1 dominating win over Nichols. 

Gretta Hartman | Sr. | All-CCC Second Team Singles | Glastonbury, Conn. 

Hartman has an overall record of 6-1 this season for Endicott. She's totaled one win at the No. 1 singles spot and has tallied five wins at the No. 2 singles spot. Her highlight victory thus far was a 6-2, 7-5 win at the No. 2 spot against Gordon in the CCC semifinals. 

Ashley Keaveney | So. | ALL-CCC Third Team Singles | Exeter, N.H.

Keaveney earned her second All-CCC nod with the announcement from the league office today. The sophomore is currently 6-0 in singles play this season, earning two wins at No. 2 singles, and No. 3 singles, and one win at No. 4 singles. 


Gretta Hartman / Fernanda Trevino | All-CCC First Team Doubles 

Hartman and Trevino are currently 4-1 at the No. 1 doubles spot for Endicott. Their highlight win thus far came in the CCC Championship where they secured an, 8-6, victory over Nichols. 

Justine Hoover / Ashley Keaveney | All-CCC Second Team Doubles  

Hoover and Keaveney currently hold a 4-0 record with all their victories coming at the No. 2 spot. Highlighting their victories are two wins in the CCC playoffs where they only lost a total of three games. 


WHAT'S NEXT 

Endicott (10-0) will face off against No. 11 nationally ranked Tufts, on Saturday, May 15 at 2 PM, at Johns Hopkins, for the second round of the NCAA tournament.
