Women's Tennis Edges Gordon, 5-4

BEVERLY, Mass. — The Endicott women's tennis team defeated Gordon, 5-4, on Saturday afternoon at the South Campus Courts. 

In doubles action, the Gulls' lone victory came at the No. 3 spot through Jennifer Stone (Baldwinsville, N.Y.) and Angelina Ciardi (New Fairfield, Conn.) who took home an 8-4 victory. 

Meanwhile, in singles, Endicott received a 6-4, 6-1 win at No. 1 Justine Hoover (Conn.), while Shelby Henry (Lincoln, Neb.) took home a 6-0, 6-1 win at No. 4 and Clare O'Keefe (Lutz, Fla.) earned a 6-1, 6-7, 6-1 win at No. 5. 

The match, however, came down to the No. 6, and Stone came through for The Gulls pulling out a 6-2, 6-7, 6-4 victory.

WHAT'S NEXT 

Endicott (1-0, 1-0 CCC) will host Curry on Thursday, April 1 at 3:30 PM. Gordon (0-2, 0-1 CCC) will play host to Wentworth on Thursday, April 1 at 4 PM.
