BEVERLY, Mass. — The Endicott women's tennis team is scheduled to start its 2021 season this Saturday at home against Gordon at 1:00 PM. Here's a preview of the Gulls' upcoming season.
FIVE THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW
- Gretta Hartman (Glastonbury, Conn.) and Clare O'Keefe '21 (Lutz, Fla.) have been named captains for the 2021 season.
- The Gulls return five all-conference student-athletes to the fold including Hartman, Justine Hoover (Wallingford, Conn.), Olivia Berler (Marstons Mills, Mass.), Cameron Foley (Lynnfield, Mass.), Ashley Keaveney (Exeter, N.H.), and Fernanda Trevino (Dallas, Texas).
- Endicott will compete in "Pod B" against Curry, Gordon, and Wentworth. The Gulls will play two Saturday conference matchups against each team in the pod. Any other matches against "Pod B" opponents will not affect the conference standings.
- As a program, Endicott enters the 2021 season with a 295-138-1 record (.681) since women's tennis was established at the College in 1993.
- The Gulls will look to compete in their 10th straight Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) championship in 2021.
