BEVERLY, Mass. – The third-seeded Endicott women's tennis team (10-3) travels to second-seeded Roger Williams (11-1) today in the Commonwealth Coast Conference semifinals at 3 pm. Here's a preview of today's match.
FIVE THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW
- The Gulls defeated Salve Regina, 5-0 in the CCC quarterfinals on Wednesday, October 16, while Roger Williams had a bye into the semifinals.
- The Hawks won the only meeting between the two teams, 5-4, on September 24.
- This will be the tenth time the two teams will meet in the playoffs. The Gulls are 6-3 all-time in the playoffs against the Hawks.
- The last playoff matchup between the two teams was on October 17, 2017. Endicott came away with a 5-2 win that day.
- This is the first time since 2007 that the two teams will play a playoff match at Roger Williams.
WHAT'S NEXT
The winner of the match will play Nichols in the CCC Championship on Saturday, October 26, at a time to be determined later.
