Women's Tennis Tops Springfield, 7-2

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – The Endicott women's tennis team defeated Springfield College, 7-2 on Sunday afternoon at the Appleton Courts.

In doubles action, the team of Gretta Hartman (Glastonbury, Conn.) and Justine Hoover (Wallingford, Conn.) secured an 8-3 victory at No. 1 and the duo of Ashley Keaveney (Exeter, N.H.) and Cara McCormack (Worcester, Mass.) notched an 8-2 win at No. 3.

Meanwhile, in singles action, Hoover earned a hard-fought 6-4,4-6,10-4 win at No. 1, Hartman won 7-5, 6-2 at No. 3, Olivia Berler (Marstons Mills, Mass.) notched a 7-5, 6-0 win at No. 4, Keaveney secured a 6-0, 6-3 win at No. 5 and Cameron Foley (Lynnfield, Mass.) notched a 6-1, 6-4 win at No. 6.

Endicott (8-3) finishes the regular season on Tuesday, October 8 at 3 PM as Endicott hosts CCC day. Springfield (3-1) hosts Salve Regina on Wednesday, October 9 at 3 PM.
