Women's Tennis Downs Western New England, 9-0

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – The Endicott women's tennis team blanked Western New England, 9-0, in conference action on Saturday afternoon at the Volvo Outdoor Tennis Courts.

In Doubles action, each Gulls duo won by a score of 8-1. Gretta Hartman (Glastonbury, Conn.) and Justine Hoover (Wallingford, Conn.) secured the victory at No. 1, Olivia Berler (Marstons, Mills, Mass.) and Cameron Foley (Lynnfield, Mass.) notched the win at No. 2, and Cara McCormack (Worcester, Mass.) and Ashley Keaveney (Exeter, N.H.) earned the win at No. 3.

Meanwhile in Singles action, Hoover (6-0, 6-1), Hartman (6-2, 6-3), McCormack (6-0, 6-0), Berler (6-3, 6-1), Keaveney (6-1, 6-0), and Clare O'Keefe (Lutz, Fla.) (6-2, 6-0) all collected victories at No. 1-6 in respective order.

WHAT'S NEXT

Endicott (7-3, 4-2 CCC) will travel to Springfield on Sunday, September 6 for a 12 PM match. Western New England (5-3, 3-4 CCC) will await to see who their opponent is in the upcoming Commonwealth Coast Conference women's tennis tournament.
