Roger Williams Trips Up Endicott, 5-4

BRISTOL, R.I. — The Endicott women's tennis team fell to Roger Williams 5-4 Tuesday evening at Roger Williams.

In doubles play, the Gulls took two out of three matches. At No. 2, the team of Justin Hoover (Wallingford, Conn.) and Cara McCormack (Worcester, Mass.) secured an 8-7 victory, and at No. 3 the duo of Ashley Keaveney (Exeter, N.H.) and Olivia Berler (Marstons Mills, Mass.) notched an 8-7 win.

Meanwhile, in singles action, Roger Williams took four out of the six matches securing wins at No. 1 (6-4, 6-2), No. 3 (4-6, 7-6, 6-4), No. 4 (7-5, 5-6, 6-0), and at No. 5 (6-1, 6-4)

For the Gulls, Hoover won 6-2, 6-0 at No. 2 and Keaveney registered a 6-1, 6-1 victory at No. 6.

Endicott (5-3, 2-2 CCC) hosts Wentworth as part of Homecoming and Family Weekend on Saturday, September 28 at 1 PM. Roger Williams 8-0, 4-0 CCC) travels to Clark on Friday, September 27 for a 4 PM contest.
