Endicott Handles Curry, 9-0

BEVERLY, Mass. — The Endicott women's tennis team defeated Curry College, 9-0, Saturday afternoon at The South Campus Courts.

In doubles action, the duo of Gretta Hartman (Glastonbury, Conn.) and Cameron Foley (Lynnfield, Mass.) secured an 8-3 win at No. 1, while the team of Cara McCormack (Worcester, Mass.) and Justine Hoover (Wallingford, Conn.) notched an 8-1 win at No. 2.

Meanwhile, in singles action Grace Hiza (Milford, Conn.) earned her first collegiate win with a 6-0, 6-1 win at No. 4, Clare O'Keefe (Lutz, Fla.) won 6-1, 6-2 at No. 3, Jennifer Stone (Baldwinsville, N.Y.) notched a 6-1, 6-4 win at No. 2, and Olivia Berler (Marstons Mills, Mass.) secured a 6-4, 7-5 victory at No. 1 to round out the play.

"Our women did a good job staying focused today," said Endicott women's tennis head coach Anthony D'Angelo. "We have one month remaining and will look to keep utilizing offensive strategies."

Endicott (5-2, 2-1 CCC) travels to Roger Williams on Tuesday, September 24 for a 4 PM contest. Curry (0-9, 0-2 CCC) hosts Wentworth on Tuesday, September 24 at 3:30 PM.
