Women’s Tennis Claims Sixth Straight ITA All-Academic Team Award

2018-19 ITA ALL-ACADEMIC TEAM/SCHOLAR-ATHLETE LIST

BEVERLY, Mass. – The Endicott women's tennis team has earned its sixth straight Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) All-Academic Team Award for its efforts in the classroom during the 2018-19 academic year.

Additionally, Margot Andreasen (Portland, Maine), Alexandra Barmore (Southington, Conn.), Hayley Barnett (Marlboro, N.J.), Gillian Freter (Scituate, Mass.), Justine Hoover (Wallingford, Conn.), Alexi Losano (Saugus, Mass.), Clare O'Keefe (Lutz, Fla.), Sarah Pertile (Edgartown, Mass.), Lauren Rahr (Waterford, Conn.), and Fernanda Trevino (Dallas, Texas) all earned ITA Scholar-Athlete Recognition.

The ITA All-Academic Team award is open to any ITA program that has a cumulative team grade point average of 3.20 or above (on a 4.00 scale). All varsity letter winners should be factored into the cumulative team GPA for the current academic year (including fall 2018 and spring 2019).

Meanwhile, in order to earn ITA Scholar-Athlete status a student-athlete must meet the following criteria: 1.) be a varsity letter winner, 2.) have a grade point average of at least 3.50 (on a 4.00 scale) for the current academic year, and 3.) have been enrolled at their present school for at least 2 semesters (including freshman through senior year).
