BEVERLY, Mass. – Endicott women's tennis student-athlete Alexandra Barmore (Southington, Conn.) has been named to the Google Cloud Academic All-District® At-Large First Team, as presented by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) organization.
The Google Cloud Academic All-District® At-Large Team recognizes the top student-athletes for their combined athletic and academic performances. The NCAA Division III District 1 Team includes all schools in Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont. First-team Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CoSIDA Academic All-America® Team ballot, where first, second and third team All-America® honorees will be selected next month.
Barmore will graduate with a degree in sport management (3.93 GPA). Academically, she is a three-time Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Academic All-Conference selection, three-time Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Scholar-Athlete and has multiple Dean's List honors. Barmore also won the Lynn Miller Warrior Award, which is presented at NEWITTs to a junior or senior who embodies competitiveness in playing sport while competing with the highest level of integrity.
Earlier this semester Barmore was selected to attend the NFL Women's Career in Football Forum which led to a postgraduate internship offer with the NFL's Indianapolis Colts, which she accepted.
While at Endicott, she was a member of the Sport Management Club, Gull Revolution, Mortar Board Society, Sport Management Honor Society, and the Endicott Football Team. She is currently the Football Operations Assistant for Endicott Football and previously completed football operations internships with Yale University and Boston College and was a game day recruiting assistant for Boston College as well. Meanwhile, her freshman year internship was in the athletics marketing departments at Central Connecticut State University.
On the court, Barmore had a 22-8 career doubles record during her four years with the Endicott women's tennis team and was named captain during her senior year. During her career, Endicott won one conference championship and competed in the CCC Championship match all four seasons.
GOOGLE CLOUD ACADEMIC ALL-AMERICA® PROGRAM INFORMATION
Nominees for the Google Cloud Academic All-District® Team are nominated by their respective Sports Information Director(s) and voted upon by dues-paying members within the CoSIDA organization. To be eligible, a student-athlete must be a varsity starter or key reserve, maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.30 on a scale of 4.00, and have reached sophomore athletic and academic standing at his current institution.
The Google Cloud Academic All-America® Program is a highly selective scholar-athlete honor. Approximately 2,000 of the 12,000 student-athletes nominated annually receive "First-Team Academic All-District" honors, and approximately 800 currently gain the prestigious Google Cloud Academic All-America® honor.
First-team Academic All-District® honorees advance to the Google Cloud Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second- and third-team (if applicable) Academic All-America® honorees will be announced in June.
The Division II and III Google Cloud Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CoSIDA with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2018-19 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs.

The College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA), now in its 62nd year as an organization, was founded in 1957-making it the second oldest management association in intercollegiate athletics. Today, it is a vibrant 3,100-plus member national association comprised of the athletic communications, media relations and sports information professionals throughout all levels of collegiate athletics in the United States and Canada.
