Babson Blanks Women's Tennis, 7-0

WELLESLEY, Mass. — The Endicott women's tennis team dropped its match to Babson College, 7-0, on Thursday evening at the Babson Tennis Courts. 

Doubles action saw the Beavers come away with the sweep as they claimed triumphs at the No. 3 (8-0), No. 1 (8-1), and No. 2 (8-5) flights in respective order to take a 3-0 lead headed into singles play. 

Meanwhile, in singles, Babson claimed wins at the No. 3 (6-0, 6-0) and No. 2 (6-0, 6-0) spots to clinch the match for its eighth straight victory dating back to March 30.

"We played a strong team who is in mid-season form," said Endicott head women's tennis coach Anthony D'Angelo. "Our ladies trained really hard these past few weeks; they'll be ready to rip again after a weekend off." 

WHAT'S NEXT

Endicott (12-6) will have the week off before they host Merrimack College on Thursday, April 25 at 3:30 PM. Babson (12-4) has a few days off before they take on MIT at home on Tuesday, April 23 at 3:30 PM.
