2015 CCC Preseason Poll Release

BEVERLY, Mass. – The Endicott women's tennis team has been selected to repeat as Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) champions for the fifth straight season in a vote conducted by the league's nine head coaches.

The Gulls received 74 points, which included five first place votes, headed into the 2015 season after registering a 14-5 record overall and an 8-0 mark in conference play last fall. In the CCC Tournament last season, Endicott only dropped one match in two playoff rounds en route to downing Nichols, 5-1, to claim the CCC crown.

Nichols and Roger Williams tied for second place in the CCC preseason poll with 67 points apiece, while Gordon ranked No. 4 with 61 points and Western New England University was positioned fifth with 41 points.

Salve Regina checked in at No. 6 (40), while Wentworth (27), Eastern Nazarene (19), and Curry (9) all followed to wrap up the preseason poll standings.
