2019 CCC WOMEN'S SOCCER RELEASE
BEVERLY, Mass. - Endicott women's soccer senior Elizabeth Masucci (Norwell, Mass.) was named the 2019 Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Senior-Scholar Athlete on Friday, headlining six total honors for the program. The All-CCC teams and major awards were announced by the league office earlier today.
Mascucci's Scholar-Athlete disctinction was joined by five total All-CCC honors, consisting of one First Team, three Second Team and one Third Team.
CCC SENIOR SCHOLAR-ATHLETE
Elizabeth Masucci | Sr. | D | Norwell, Mass.
Masucci, an Elementary Education major, has maintained a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.94 during her collegiate career. To date, she has earned Dean's List honors in all six semesters at Endicott while also earning Academic All-Conference honors twice.
During her four years at Endicott, the senior has completed student teaching hours at Cole Elementary and Wollaston Elementary and is completing her semester-long student-teaching at Hannah Elementary in a first grade classoom. A member of SAAC at Endicott, Masucci is a member of the KDP Education Honors Society and the Education Club.
Masucci is the fifth woman to earn the honor in the history of the program.
ALL-CCC FIRST TEAM
Kadrianna Letts | Jr. | D | Beverly, Mass.
Letts played a significant role on the back end for Endicott, one year after earning Defensive Player of the Year honors as a sophomore. She played every minute of the season as part of a defensive unit that has allowed an average of 1.20 goals against in CCC play.
ALL-CCC SECOND TEAM
Larissa Cade | Sr. | F | Middlefield, Conn.
Cade was a consistent force on the offensive end for the Gulls in 2019, tying a career-high mark with four goals on the season, while adding one assist for nine points total. Of her four goals, two came in CCC play, with one serving as the game-winner in the team's 1-0 over top-seeded Gordon.
Jaymie Caponigro | Jr. | M | Swampscott, Mass.
In her first season dawning the Blue and Green, Caponigro made an immediate impact, leading the team with six goals and 15 total points. The midfielder also chipped in three assists on the season. Of her 15 points, five came in CCC play as she scored two goals and notched an assist against conference opponents.
Hannah Lederman | So. | D | Natick, Mass.
For the second straight season, Lederman started in every match that she played, totaling 16 of each in 2019, while also chipping in a career-best two assists. Lederman's consistency as part of a defensive unit that has allowed an average of 1.20 goals against in CCC play was pivotal for the Gulls' success during the season.
ALL-CCC THIRD TEAM
Chloe Waldron | So. | M | Harwinton, Conn.
Waldron impressed in her second season at Endicott, going from three starts as a freshman, to starting 15 of 17 games played as a sophomore. The result for the midfielder was a new career-high in assists as she led the team with four. Three of those assists came against CCC opponents.
WHAT'S NEXT
The fifth-seeded Gulls will travel to fourth-seeded Western New England on Saturday, November 2 for a 2 PM start in the CCC Quarterfinals.
