BEVERLY, Mass. – The fifth-seeded Endicott women's soccer team (9-7-1) is set to travel to fourth-seeded Western New England (8-9-2) on Saturday afternoon at 2 PM in the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Tournament quarterfinal round. Here is a preview of Saturday's contest.

FIVE THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW

  • The Golden Bears edged out the Gulls during the regular season, taking a 1-0 decision courtesy of a goal in the 77th minute.
  • Endicott is 12-5-2 all-time against Western New England, with the Gulls holding a 2-1-2 advantage in the last five.
  • The Gulls have made the CCC Tournament in every season since joing the conference 21 years ago.
  • Throughout the regular season, the Gulls averaged 1.82 goals/game to the Golden Bears' 1.53.
  • Two of the last three meetings between the two programs have gone to 2OT or penalty kicks.

The winner of Saturday's match will advance to take on top-seeded Gordon in the semifinals on Wednesday at a time still to be determined.
