BRISTOL, R.I. - Throughout 90 minutes of regulation and 20 minutes of overtime play, the Endicott women's soccer team tied Roger Williams 2-2 on Wednesday night. The tie, the first of the season for the Gulls, moves their record to 8-5-1 overall and 3-1-1 in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) play.

Endicott would get the scoring underway early when Jaymie Caponigro (Swampscott, Mass.) received a feed from Gabriella Prisco (West Haven, Conn.) and buried her opportunity just over two and a half minutes into play. The goal was her sixth of the season, which leads the Gulls, as do her 14 points.

Prisco would remain active, getting on the board herself in the 24th minute. Prisco's third goal of the season was assisted by Chloe Waldron (Harwinton, Conn.) and gave Endicott the 2-0 lead.

Roger Williams would cut the lead to 2-1 with an unassisted tally in the 38th minute before tying the match late in the second half, scoring at the 84:24 mark to even the score at 2-2.

Despite quality chances for the Gulls late in both overtime periods, the score would remain 2-2 for Endicott's first tie of the season.
