Cade's Second Half Goal Lifts Endicott to 1-0 Win Over Gordon

BEVERLY, Mass. — Larissa Cade's  (Middlefield, Conn.) third goal of the season lifted Endicott to a 1-0 win on Homecoming Weekend for the Gulls. With the win, Endicott is now 6-3 (1-1 CCC), while Gordon is 6-2-1 (1-1 CCC).

The two teams would play to a scoreless first half that saw the Fighting Scots out-shoot the Gulls nine to three, while also earning two more corners than the home team. Endicott keeper Kayla Wentworth (Taunton, Mass.) would make three of her six saves in the first half on her way to her third shutout of the season.

Cade didn't wait long to score the eventual game-winner for the Gulls in the second half as she buried her shot just 2:09 in. Cade was able to corral a corner from Hannah Pesci (Windham, Mass.) and slip her shot right inside the near side post to put Endicott ahead 1-0, a lead that they would never relinquish.
