Women’s Soccer Turns Away Gordon, 3-1

WENHAM, Mass. – The Endicott women's soccer team defeated crosstown conference rival Gordon College by a 3-1 score on Tuesday evening at The Quad.

Endicott received goals from Jillian Presser (Trumbull, Conn.), Gabriella Prisco (West Haven, Conn.), and Catherine Elkas (Holden, Mass.) in the win to remain undefeated on the road this season (2-0-3).

Presser gave the Gulls a 1-0 advantage in the 41st minute of the match with her first career collegiate goal, while Prisco and Elkas added tallies at 57:01 and 63:46, respectively, before Gordon broke up the shutout at 74:05.

Meanwhile, Kayla Wentworth (Taunton, Mass.) made four saves in net for Endicott to improve to 5-4-4 on the year.

BEYOND THE BOX SCORE

  • Endicott is 23-8-3 all-time against Gordon.
  • The Gulls have won five out of the last six meetings versus the Fighting Scots.
  • Endicott is 3-1-1 in its last five contests.

Endicott (5-4-4, 3-1-1 CCC) travels to Wentworth this Saturday for a conference matchup at 3:30 PM. Gordon (7-6, 2-2 CCC) hosts Roger Williams on Saturday, October 13 at 1 PM.
