DUDLEY, Mass. - The Endicott women's soccer team took to the road on Friday night and returned home with a 3-0 win over Nichols.

With the win, Endicott improves to 3-3-4 overall and 2-0-1 in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) play. With the loss, Nichols falls to 2-6-1 overall and 0-3-0 in CCC play.

The Gulls dominated on both ends of the pitch, out-shooting the Bison 35-4, and 15-3 in shots on goal. Endicott also earned 11 corners to one for the hosts.

Scoring got underway early when Sharlotte Pernice (West Springfield, Mass.) scored her team-leading fourth of the season in the 10th minute. Pernice was to blast a low line drive shot from 20 yards out and past Nichols' keeper to give the Gulls the 1-0 lead.

Hannah Pesci (Windham, N.H.) increased the lead to 2-0 in favor of Endicott just over 13 minutes later when Gabriella Prisco (West Haven, Conn.) was able to lob a pass to Pesci on the edge of the box. Pesci ran under the lob and one touched it with her left foot, just past the foot of the defender in chase as the shot rolled past the keeper again at the 23:16 mark of the first.

The third Endicott strike would come from Catherine Elkas (Holden, Mass.), less than a minute after Pesci's strike. Elkas was able to run under a long outlet pass and make a run down the right sideline. She juked a defender at the edge of the box before making a sliding shot that curled from right to left and snuck just inside the left post from about 15 yards out.

While Endicott would out-shoot Nichols 13-1 in the second half, the three first half tallies would hold till the final whistle as Endicott remained undefeated in CCC play with the 3-0 win.
