BABSON PARK, Mass. - The Endicott women's soccer team played to a 1-1 draw after two overtimes in a rainy match against Babson on Tuesday night.

With the tie, Endicott moves to 2-3-4 overall while Babson moves to 3-4-2 on the season.

Endicott got the scoring underway first when freshman Hannah Lejeune (Danvers, Mass.) scored her second goal in as many matches to put the Gulls up 1-0 in the 41st minute. Lejeune was able to take a centering feed from senior Mary Verneris (Hamden, Conn.) and beat Babson keeper Kalya Salmon (Arlington, Va.) to score the only tally of the first half.

The Gulls would almost add to the lead in the 50th minute when Catherine Elkas (Holden, Mass.) struck the crossbar with her shot. The Beavers were able to regroup quickly on defense and clear the rebound to maintain the 1-0 deficit.

Babson would even the contest in the 72nd minute when Julia Lindsay (Newton, Mass.) scored her first of the season by placing a volley off the back post for the equalizer. The goal was Lindsay's first of the season and would send the contest to overtime.

Neither team would be able to find the back of the net in the extra time and the match would close in a 1-1 draw.
