Endicott Women's Soccer Picked Second in CCC Preseason Poll

SPRINGFIELD, Mass.- With the 2017 season fast approaching, the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) office announced the women's soccer preseason coaches' poll and Endicott was awarded the No. 2 spot.

First place went to Roger Williams with 94 points (five first place votes) but the Gulls were right on their heels with 93 points (five first place votes). Defending CCC Champions Wentworth nabbed the No. 3 slot with 83 points, while the University of New England rounded out the top four with 67 points.

Curry and Salve Regina were awarded 50 and 47 points, respectively, for fifth and sixth places. Finishing out the poll were Gordon (46 points), Western New England (39 points), Nichols (17 points), and Eastern Nazarene (14).

Endicott (13-4-2, 7-2 CCC in 2016) returns to the pitch for the 2017 season on Saturday, Sept. 2 when they travel to Keene St. for a 1 p.m. contest.
