Women's Soccer Ranked 12th Regionally in First NCAA Regional Poll

BEVERLY, Mass.-  The NCAA released its first installment of the 2014 NCAA DIII Women's Soccer Regional Rankings on Wednesday and Endicott currently ranks 12th in New England.  The Gulls are currently one of three Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) teams on the poll, as the conference trails just the NESCAC which possesses four of the top 12 spots.  

After posting a 9-3-4 (5-1-1 CCC) record through 15 matches on the season, Endicott has just two regular season contests remaining before beginning their CCC playoff push on November 1st.  The Gulls are on the road to close out the season, traveling to Wentworth on Saturday at noon before heading to Quincy, Mass. to square off against Eastern Nazarene at 4:30 p.m.

The Gulls possess one of the stingiest defenses in the CCC and are currently tied for second in the CCC in goals against, having allowed just 12 goals all season for an average of 0.71/game.  Endicott is tied with UNE, which has a goals against average of 0.83, and trails Roger Williams, a team that has allowed 11 goals for an average of 0.62/game.  Endicott and Roger Williams played to a 1-1 2OT tie earlier in the season as the Hawks currently sit at 5-0-2 in CCC play while Endicott is 5-1-1.
